Urgent Care!

Urgent Care is a good place but not one you want on your list of things to do for the day. We like our days to go “as planned” with no unusual, negative upsets. However, this journey of life may have its unexpected accidental moments when the normal sources of help are not available. This is the time when we are eager and delighted to seek assistance at these “do almost everything” resources. I’ve sat in these havens when those around me seemed so much sicker than I that I wanted them to get help first. I’ve also been so miserable I wanted to jump ahead to first place. In some amazing way in God’s Urgent Care there is no waiting line. He meets us at the entrance with open arms. He draws us close in order to comfort and correct. He pours His love over us while He opens the eyes of our understanding so we see the way to travel toward a better place. Don’t choose to stay home and self-medicate. I love Hebrews 4:15-16, “For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness, but One who has been tempted in all things and is yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in times of need.” Don’t hesitate. Hope and help is available. In fact, if we went more frequently to this source of help and guidance (that is available during His 24 hour office schedule), we might not need to enter in through the Urgent Care door so often. By the way, this Helper doesn’t scold and berate us for not coming sooner, but He is a straight talker. He doesn’t use a band aid when surgery is necessary. We can trust Him. This Urgent Care has an excellent rating!
