Friends, some Believers view the Christian life as a journey on railroad tracks. The direction is already firmly set in place. Their job is to hang on and look out the window. Other Believers view the journey as an ocean voyage or airplane flight. Each craft must chart their path for reaching God’s destination and purpose for their lives. They have the responsibility for focusing on the destination, BUT they have an amazing co-pilot and engineer who is always available for guidance and power to facilitate our journey. The enemy of God invests enormous energy into diverting our purposes, BUT our God “never leaves us or forsakes us” and He is always available to help us. Dear Friends, the journey toward His goals and purpose for our lives is so worth facing into the wind and pressing on. We are here in this time and in this place to make a difference for Him. So take heart … “Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
