“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.“ (Ecclesiastes 9:10) Friends, this is a great reminder. The drawer half closed, the toothbrush on the counter, the towel on the floor, the car keys??? Where are they? It is so true that sloppy habits do make a sloppy life. When we always have an excuse for being late, we need to think about ourselves. When we never have “time” to do our best, we need to rethink our performance as a Believer. Perhaps we need to slow down, make lists, don’t make hasty commitments, but do what it takes to raise the standard of our performance because “We are not our own. We have been bought with a price.” (1 Peter 1:18-19) Friends, we love the idea of freedom. We have the wonderful freedom of choice. Believers want to “choose” to follow the best trail, to invest whatever it takes to serve well. Let’s launch into the future with a new desire to serve in every area of our lives with excellence.
