Friends, when we find ourselves dragging through our days; when we keep a long checklist of personal needs and grievances; when, perhaps without meaning to, we find our thoughts and actions are mainly directed toward ourselves—it’s time to Turn On to a better mind set. God’s operating instructions say, “If you give yourself to the hungry, and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then your light will rise in darkness and your gloom will become like midday. And the Lord will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places and will give strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.” (Isaiah 58:10-11) What a huge relief! We need to Turn On to the power that is available through our Heavenly Father. Throw the switch from “Me” to “Others” and watch the power of optimism begin to light up your world. Choose to put the worries and pains of the present into God’s hands. Listen to His directions and watch your light Turn On. God truly is at work in the life of every Believer and He is always working to bring light and good out of darkness. Believe it and act on it!
