My Friends, in a culture that finds commitment a difficult assignment, we may find this advice a challenge. Certainly there are many things in life that our God assures us require an ongoing commitment. Today however, I want us to reflect on those situations where we need to reevaluate. Are there places in our lives where our efforts and energies have been expended without any positive results? These are the times when we need to pause to consult our God. Perhaps He is at work in a different direction. Perhaps our God desires to redirect our efforts. It’s important to periodically pull back and “ask Him.” It may be we are to put the entire situation or person into His hands as we step back and support with prayer. God may desire change in the situation and we may need to be the one to change! How refreshing and liberating to place our confidence in Him as we wait for His instructions for future involvement. Never Give Up on God. He is always at work for the very best outcome. Relax, rejoice, remember all that He has done in the past as we take a deep breath and anticipate His amazing impact on the world He loves. He Never Gives Up!
