“Rejoice always. Pray continually. Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” ( I Thess 5:16) My friends, is this instruction a mistake? Of course not. It is a wonderful affirmation that our God is at work in all things, therefore we thank Him. He does not originate all things because He has an enemy who is active and always at work to harm God’s people. We are to be wise and take heart because in the midst of turmoil we have a God who has not forsaken us and who never leaves us. We can join with Him and be so very grateful and thankful. So have a Happy Thanksgiving my friends!
