My Friends, I find “sheltering in place” is filled with new discoveries. I personally love the “place” I’m sheltering in – my home; however, I also love many other places including my church and meeting places with friends and groups of various kinds. I’m following the guidelines but I’m not adding to the guidelines. I intend to use my limited freedom to serve our God who has all this under control. He is always a God who does not initiate “virus” or “trouble,” but He is an amazing God who always uses whatever is allowed to lead and direct His people. Our God is always working to draw us upward to higher ground. He wants to show us ways to mature and grow into a more effective follower. He wants us to develop our helping skills and deepen our prayer life. He uses the world around us as an available “gym” for training. We want to ask for eyes to see and hearts willing to respond to the many needs this current event has presented. Do not lose heart my dear friends! God is at work! “For God is at work to will and to do His good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13)
