Friends, the world around us uses a yardstick for giving. They say give: if they have given to you; if you want their favor; or perhaps because you have an extra item. God encourages us to be “givers.” He wants the giving bug to get into our system. As His ambassadors He is always encouraging us to be a walking demonstration of His nature. God loves to give! Giving is of course far more than the ability to choose clever gifts. The most precious gifts are Time and Love. Perhaps your budget, energy, and commitments will not permit you to give as you would like. Don’t let those common limitations steal your precious gift of caring. Ask God to help us to find ways to share appreciation, understanding, and caring. Use technology for a speedy note. No matter where we are our God will give us a way to give blessings anyway. You will never be sorry!
