There is a great “rush’ when we are able to secure a needed or desired item On Sale! Some use the “On Sale” circumstance to suddenly move the item into the “must have” category. There is something about paying less than the true value of an item that lifts our spirits and makes us feel very clever. The Bible tells us, “You are not your own. You have been bought with a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” (I Corinthians 6:19-20) As Believers we have been chosen and set on a path of service. Our purchase was not made after “waiting for the sales” but was made at a very high cos t- an almost unthinkable cost. Never doubt your worth and value in the sight of your Heavenly Father. It is an awesome and humbling thing to realize the price Jesus willingly paid to make us His own. We need to stand tall, put back our shoulders, and serve Him with gladness. We were not on sale but we were bought with a very high price. What an honor.
